Andy Stone, a spokesman for Facebook, said the "cross-check" program is usually used on many pages and profiles. This type of account is monitored for the second time. So that it is clear whether Facebook is doing anything wrong in enforcing their policy.
He added that the program is used to maintain extra caution in case of high profile or VIP accounts.
